Using insights from our research on bicycle parking around train stations, you will co-create ideas for smarter bicycle parking solutions.

What you will get out of this workshop
Our approach is based on design research and service design: in the workshop you will get a chance to learn about these powerful approaches to convert insights around people’s everyday experiences into ideas for high impact innovations.

Workshop theme
Design research and service design are processes that, in their simplest articulation, comprise of three important stages:
– Meeting People: Setting aside all assumptions to first understand and feel inspired by people’s lives, their anxieties and aspirations.
– Telling Stories: Helping teams tap this inspiration by sharing stories that illustrate the underlying motivations and needs of users.
– Crafting Experiences: Focusing on the experience of products, services or programs that must deliver to end users.

These three phases iterated several times over, with refinements at each iteration, will eventually lead to a solution that is relevant to people’s lives and helps achieve the impact outcome you were looking for.

In the workshop we will get a glance of the first two phases, and we will dive into the third phase crafting experiences. With a structured creative approach we develop together ideas that are relevant to people’s lives.
